This quarter final of the cup turned out to be a very close affair, with both teams playing some neat passing football. Ciren scored first with a goal from Nat Bell, Ciren should have scored more in the first half but some resilient defending ensured the scoreline stayed at 1 nil going into the second half.
Dunstable started the second half the better of the 2 sides and scored on the break with a good finish from Sam Oyediran.
Ciren had more chances to go ahead in the game but the post, crossbar and good defending kept the scores level. 3 minutes from the end of normal time Ciren won a free kick which was neatly put away by the skipper Rowan Doyle. The game ended 2-1
A fantastic game of football which was a joy to watch, huge thanks to the Dunstable players and supporters for making the journey and giving Cirencester a great game.
