The match started brightly for North Somerset, playing some very attractive football on the front foot. However NS struggled to take advantage of this early control and Wiltshire started to get hold of the ball and create some opportunities.For a while the game went backwards and forwards without either team taking control.
Towards the end of the first half NS started to find some opportunities to run at the Wiltshire defense, the first goal came from an excellent run and shot from Josh Sheppard saved by goal keeper Lucas Bond, however Charlie Huke was on hand to neatly finish. 1-0 NS. The second goal was scored in much the same fashion, this time Josh Parsons drove at the defense and had an excellent shot saved, Ollie Combstock was in the right spot to finish. 2-0 NS.
Wiltshire were not prepared to let NS have it all their own way and dominated the last few minutes of the half. Wiltshire started to probe around the flanks and eventually played a great ball into the box for Henry Slowly to finish. 2-1 NS - Half Time.
The second half was much the same as the first, NS creating chances one on one with the keeper without reward and Wiltshire looking dangerous with a variety of attacks. Late in the second half Wiltshire worked the ball out wide before crossing into the box for Nathaniel Martin score the equalizer. 2-2 Full time. Penalties
A penalty shootout was required to decide the winner. Some incredible good penalties were taken by both teams, however Wiltshire took the victory winning 5-4.
