Match Report

A great competitive game ended in a tight victory for Oxford. Oxford started the half the better of the sides and created a chance in the opening stages and hit the post. Then a few moments later they found themselves in on goal after a defensive mistake and score a deserved goal. That goal prompted a response from Bilbrook and create a few chances but couldn't manage a equaliser in the first half. The second half Oxford maintain their dominance and score another goal. They then capitalised on a defensive mistake and score the third l. That goal motivated Bilbrook and saw them respond positively, creating a chance and managing to find the top corner for a goal after that Bilbrook pushed forward and create good chances, one of which was converted and made it 3-2. However the pressure couldn't find a third and Oxford went away with a deserved but tight win.
