The venue was changed to a large 3G to get the game on and although a slow start from both teams, Gloucester saw the better chances in the first period.
Torquay played some neat two touch passing which ended up as the first real chance and was slotted home by Will Nicol.
Gloucester still pushed forward and continued to create by sliding some diagonal passes in behind the full backs, and went close on several occasions.
After halftime the visitors wre winning the ball back more frequently and were in and around the torquay goal with Brandon Simpson keeping the score in favour of the home team.
With a neat interchange and some loose Torquay marking, Gloucester equalised low into the bottom corner.
With both teams having a few chances late on the game could have gone either way but both showed resilience to come away with a point each.
